Am I too old to enter a karate tournament?
I am 17 male and possess a red belt in Tang Soo do; however, I haven't entered any tournaments... Although I really want to become a black belt, I feel as if I am too old to be practicing karate...

I entered a tournament when I was in my mid 40's. Why do you think you are to old? You are still a kid. The martial arts were not created for children. They were practiced by adults only until the 1970's when martial arts instructors got greedy and started handing out belts to children. you are at a good age now. Just keep on training.
